Community Film Trilogy (2023) – Documentary Series of Farm Lab Season 1
In the Spring of 2023 community volunteers came together to document the rise of the Farm Lab through a “community participatory film production”. Community members were invited to participate in documenting our project through story; photo, video, music and art. Over twenty community members contributed archival footage, creative content, interviews, etc… and a skilled crew of community volunteers, students and alumni edited it together to create the following trilogy: Spring, Summer and Fall/Winter. Episodes range in length from 14 minutes to 18 minutes and include participant interviews, wildlife and original music. The films give a glimpse into the Farm Lab during our first season from a variety of perspectives. Special thanks to everyone who participated in making these memorable films!
We are interested in continuing documenting the project in various capacities, including short educational demonstration videos. If you would like to learn more or be involved in photography, videography or in other ways please get in touch!
Farm Lab “How-to” Series
This ongoing series features short practical “how to” videos that describe various tasks through the garden. Videos range in length from 3-10 minutes. The first four videos cover seed collection, harvesting, plant tray prep and seed starting. We are always looking for requests for additional video subjects and for volunteer film-makers to guest-produce a short!
